School Day 
Classes begin at 8.40am when the children are expected to be in their classrooms ready to learn. The children enter the school through either Langley Road entrance (KS2) or Kingsdown Road entrance (EYFS & KS1) from 8.30 am, the school gates are closed promptly at 8.40 by a member of staff. This start time allows time for the pupils to engage in their daily Guided Reading activities.
Collective Worship
At 10.10am we meet daily for Collective worship which is led by either staff members or a member of our local Church.
Prayers in the classroom
Teachers will lead children in a prayer at lunchtime and at the end of the day.
Daily Timings
- 8.40 am - 10.10 registration and morning lessons
- 10.30am - 10.45am playtime for KS1 and KS2
- 10.45am - 12.00 continuation of morning lessons
- 11.45am – 12.45pm lunchtime for Reception classes
- 12.00pm – 1.00pm lunchtime for KS1 & KS2
- 1pm - 3.15pm afternoon lessons (please see below as times slightly differ for different key stages)
The end of the day
- Reception children end their day at 3:05 p.m.
- Key Stage one (Infants Year 1 and 2) end their day at 3.10 pm
- Key Stage Two (Juniors Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) children are dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
