Our School Day
Key Stage One & Two classes begin at 8.40am when the children enter their classrooms or are collected from the playground. This start time allows time for the pupils to engage in their daily Guided Reading activities, as well as having a chance to read and respond to their teacher's marking and make any corrections/amendments to their work.
Collective Worship
At 10.10am we meet daily for Collective worship which is led by either staff members or Rev. Helen Hancock.
Prayers in the classroom
Teachers will lead children in a prayer at lunchtime and at the end of the day.
Daily Timings
- 10.30am - 10.45am playtime for KS1 and KS2

Lunchtimes
Lunch is a time children enjoy together – whether eating a packed lunch or school dinner. Our school hall becomes our dining room where year groups are called in to dine together. School lunches are provided by an outside catering company, currently I.S.S catering. All our meals meet new Government standards for nutrition. Milk or water is served with the meals. Reception class children go to lunch 10 minutes before the rest of the children, so they can be given extra supervision. All children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a Free School Meal. Please note that this meal will not be automatically provided. Parents need to order through I.S.S. Catering.
The end of the day
- Reception children end their day at 3:05 p.m.
- Key Stage one (Infants Year 1 and 2) end their day at 3.10 pm
- Key Stage Two (Juniors Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) children are dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
