Hampton Court Palace

We've had an incredibly creative start to our half term following our trip to Hampton Court Palace.

After exploring the palace and the gardens, we went on an adventure to find the powerful dragon, brave bull, loyal greyhound, graceful yale and a noble lion. We listened to a fictional story about a young King learning how to grow into his new role.  He turned to each of the magical beasts to help him learn how to become more brave, powerful, noble, loyal and graceful.

When we came back to class the children decided to make maps, pictures and a large model of Hampton Court Palace. They also told their own imaginative stories about the magical beasts.

If you would like to see our children’s work you can go along to the free exhibition at Hampton Court Palace on Tuesday 9th July 4pm-6pm!
