Year 1 have really enjoyed participating in World Book Week this week. The children all looked fantastic in their costumes and enjoyed the day full of reading activities. Today we took part in a Readathon raising money for African Vision Malawi and our school libraries, by dressing in our pjs and bringing in our favourite books. Miss Collins and Ms Franken enjoyed being able to wear their slippers and to read their favourite books too. The children loved reading so much that they carried on after they had changed back into their school uniform when it was time to go home!
