    Insight RE visitor

    We were fortunate enough to have Mrs Andrews visit us today to talk about the Nativity story. The children looked at how light is important to the story focusing on the Wise Men and the Star. The children made some lovely stars which we are excited to display in our classrooms ready for Christmas.

    Toy Museum Arrives

    Football skills in Year 1

    Outdoor learning about capacity

    In Maths this week we have been learning about capacity. We went outside to investigate how to measure liquid capacity using measuring jugs and coloured water. The children worked in groups and  loved exploring the ways of measuring liquid and identifying the correct amounts.

    The Year 1's enjoyed a fun-filled day out at Brooklands Transport Museum in Weybridge. During our topic this term we have been learning about the history of transport and it was great for the children to experience many different modes of transport from the past.
