Go Turquoise & Emerald!

KS2 sports day was not to be missed! The children all proved they are budding athletes with excellent sportsmanship. They cheered each other on and supported one another throughout the day. We’re incredibly proud of them. The parents showed up in tremendous force and it was lovely to see and hear so much praise for both classes.

Although there were many highlights, who knew they could run so fast! The javelin event turned out to be very popular with Jerome propelling the javelin clear over Mrs Clinton’s head. The long standing jump was a treat with the children likening themselves to frogs and rabbits, with parents shouting ‘spring’ from the side-lines much to the classes delight. We were particularly impressed by all the children’s hockey skills as the dribbled the ball around a series of cones. It took a lot of skill and concentration but they all completed it beautifully.

After a much deserved lolly break, the famous relay race took place and the children cheered on their house for the upper years.

Well done Turquoise & Emerald class!
