A couple of weeks ago, Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed a visit by a specialist RE teacher from Insight. We were introduced to how the lyrics in Christmas carols tell the story of the nativity. We listened to a carol performed by the groups ‘The Pentatonix’ and we then drew the story of Christmas selecting our favourite lyrics to illustrate it. We really enjoyed the lesson!
