In bad weather (such as heavy snow), we will always endeavour to stay open so that the pupils do not miss a day’s learning. However, it is entirely dependent on whether we have the correct staff ratios and whether our staff are able to get to school safely from their homes. Many of our staff live a distance away from Surbiton and therefore we would be unable to tell you this information until approximately 8.15 on the morning.
Please do not telephone the school until after 8.15 in the morning. Once a decision has been made, we will announce it on our website, telephone answering service and, if possible, send a text message to your phones.
